Bluebox Classrooms
The first Bluebox opened in Fall 2016 in Althouse 101 and is an experimental classroom is a technology-rich experiential learning space designed to support active, collaborative learning pedagogies and increase student engagement. The design of the space is based on educational research that shows a more dynamic and flexible space can increase learning and provide an engaged educational experience that students rate more positively than traditional spaces. Ag Sciences room 110 will be the next addition to Penn State’s research-focused classrooms and will be opening for Fall 2019.
